Edukasaun Timor bridges the gap between national educational standards and the material realities of the Timorese classroom. We focus on resilient logistics, infrastructure-independent digital tools, and the contextualization of curriculum to ensure that policy becomes practice in every municipality.
EFL Resources: Grades 7, 8 & 9 English textbooks, teacher guides, and supporting resources.
National Logistics Audit: The Distribution Gap. In late 2025, Grade 7 textbooks reached the Port of Dili weeks before the academic year. Yet, administrative friction delayed delivery to classrooms for months. EdukasaunTimor analyzes these 'last-mile' failures to develop decentralized coordination models that leverage local partnerships, ensuring that learning materials reach students regardless of central logistical bottlenecks.
Active Research: Digital Resilience in Variable-Resource Terrains. We are currently mapping the feasibility of offline-first digital pedagogy across diverse Timorese environments—from the relatively high-resource Vila centers to the infrastructure-challenged mountain schools of the interior. Our current data collection is centered in the Ainaro municipality as a primary stress-test site for national implementation.
